A good spot for leveling is the stone circle near Gallopolis... Just run around it killing the prodigators (sp)... They usually come in groups of 3 to 5, and give around 200 to 300 xp a castle and about 10p gold... Might not seem like much but metal slimes often appear with them, and the battles are ridiculously easy near level 20 and on....
